Ron,

Sorry you are incorrect. They changed it late last year or early this year.

No problem with the FRC. Volunteering for anything is almost a thankless task.

I think they made more work for them selfs with this idea.

Leon,

The odd even renewal year has been the way FRC did in past. I've been doing for over 20 years. It was confusing. The FRC would list exp date, MM/DD/YYYY on the repeater listing.

Good if they have changed, but now they will get lots of renewals all at once and this usually means they will not act on it for months, but then again maybe it will be automatically done for their site.

I've been working with repeaters and FRC for over 20 years, since early 90s. They are very good coordinating group, one just needs to know how to deal with them, hi.

Ron, N9EE,

Read the home page of the FRC. There is a statement there that say's

NOTICE: All new and renewing coordinations will be issued an expiration date of 9/30/2018.

Nothing about even or odd repeater frequencies.

Where did you get your info from?

Mark,

If you know your FRC district Director email them. The FRC wants updates every 2 years and if your repeater freq ends in even number the update is to be submitted in odd year and if odd number update in even year.

Normally one can update on the web site, special form for this, but since the site is down cannot do much there as you know.

Here are some contacts for FRC:

Dana, K4LK, Coordinator & Database Manager
k4lk at tampabay.rr.com

District 4 director, Mike Fletcher, NI4M
dir4 at florida-repeaters.org

If you know your district I am sure you can use dir(X)@florida-repeaters.org, but contacting the others should get you to where you need to be.

I am the trustee of three club repeaters in Okeechobee and trying to find out if we're current or not. I understand there are issues with the web site, but I would like to know a status update and don't who from or how to get information. Any help will be appreciated, or can I be added to the mail list with updated information.

Thank you, Mark Brandel KF4EA Mark at MarkBrandel.com
