[FSG-public] 443.525 for ARES/RACES

Months ago I was approached by the ARES/RACES people for suggestions regarding repeater coverage, theoretical operational capability and system resilience in emergency operations here in the Tampa Bay Metro area. 

In my quest to get FSG in general more involved (and better known) within the local amateur community ( thus creating some “goodwill capital” ), I suggested they contact you regarding the use of this machine as a backup system in case of issues with the “usual subjects” that have traditionally been used for these activities in the area. 

Unfortunately, it is painfully apparent that they failed to reach out to you beforehand to secure FSG’s support of this proposal and “assumed”...

I apologize for their dropping the ball, but I’m happy to see that FSG supports this application of its resources.
