As far as I know, DMR-MARC doesn't care what you do on talk groups you control locally; they just don't want non-DMR transmit connections to their main talk groups.

We have on our repeaters DMR-MARC, DCI and BrandMeister. I expect
you will see the DV4M have access to some of the same TGs. Thanks to
DMRlink, I can do what I want. I could do the same with a small
C-Bridge, but I don't need it. I would not put ASL on a DMR-MARC TG.
Assign a sepertate TG and publish it on the web. If you want, give
receive only access to DMR-MARC via ASL. I think you could get all
the same TGs from DCI and not have to deal with MARC. They have no
access to our repeaters. Long story short, abide by the network
rules.

I kinda envisioned having access to their talkgroups
but maintaining one locally to allstar and other talkgroups for
other networks. From reading the DMR-MARC site this seems
frowned upon. They said unpublished talkgroups can be confusing
for local users and be against federal regulations (seemed like
a stretch to me) anyways just wondering about that. I get the
impression that your repeater is at their disposal and nothing
else should be piped thru it.
