This is true Robert, however I still like the concept of keeping everything in an Allstar network.
If the Allstar Server went away, there are workarounds. I actually have several nodes on the air that the Allstar Server does not know about.
But I will agree with your point on pulling the plug
What happens when someone pulls the plug on allstar? What happens when someone pulls the plug on fusion? Nothing is forever. I highly doubt any plugs are getting pulled yaesu is putting a lot "skin in the game" to see fusion a success.
Hell c-bridge operators pull the plug on the DMR-MARC network when they get fed up.
