OK group I got it running by checking an old thread. I found /usr/local/bin/DMRGateway & I did this and now I can hear myself. I'm unsure if I'll have to do this every time I assume there is a way to make it run at boot.

Nope,
It means you grep was running.

root@repeater:~# ps ax | grep DMR
 6423 ?        Sl     0:03 ./DMRGateway
 7069 pts/1    S+     0:00 grep DMR

I might be misunderstanding this but I did this which I thought meant it was running.

See this page for testing your AMBEserverGPIO <http://nwdigitalradio.com/dv3000-ambeserver>

OK sorry, just need to clarify. Currently under /opt/dmrlink/ambe_audio/dmrlink.cfg my repeater is currently a peer to dmrlink. So should I also create a peer in that same file? Sorry I'm a little confused.

Build a master, point your repeater at it. change ambe_audio from a master to a peer. point it at the new master

I just went back and reconfirmed it. 42657 is the only node I have defined in rpt.conf

Is rxchannel = usrp/127.0.0.1:34001:32001 the only rxchannel defined in rpt.conf?
