All I can say is DOH! Palm print on forehead!
I could not figure out why the /var/log/dmrlink directory was disappearing.
Well it took a couple of days, /var/log is mounted on tempfs. It gets created on each boot.

I plan a re-work on the DIAL log system anyway. In the meantime add:
mkdir -p /var/log/dmrlink to /etc/rc.local above the exit 0

Steve,

I just made a fresh install of DIAL. I ran the script and everything looks good. The only bug I could find is it did not create /var/log/dmrlink. So when you try to run any of the .py you get a log errorĀ

Found and fixed a bug in the DMRGateway install part of the script.
If you already installed, do the following:
cd /srv/DMRGateway
./install.sh

If you have not yet downloaded the dmr_install script, ignore this.
