Mainly because it is proprietary to Yaesu. A closed system. Plus what happens when Yaesu pulls the plug on the WIRES II network ??
I want to link all my shtuff through Allstar
Just curious, why wouldn't you want to use wires? It would seem to be a excellent way to get analog audio onto the allstar network.
I've never used wires, it's just my understanding.
