This may seem like a dumb question but I've been reading the documentation Steve has been posting and then googling different things. I found some stuff about USRP and P25. Are we actually talking it might be possible to tap a discriminator for RX and then feed into a modulator for TX. Let's say for example MSF5000? Obviously using the DV3000 as in the middle. Things certainly seem to be getting more interesting. I'm going to lay hands on this 8300 and purchase as DV3000 to start testing. Well I googled it, most I came up with is twitter feeds and facebook, which I'm both not on. I did see the papa system website, selling the boards. I didn't really see anything really indepth. I did see a page all I French that looked pretty good, but my French...not so good. The MMDVM is a Multi Mode Digital Voice Modem. It is built on a Arduino Due. The software is being written by Jonathan Naylor G4KLX. Jonathan has done a great deal of work on digital modes including D-Star. The board that will be provided by Paps sys is a small analog board that mounts on the Due and provides the simple filtering and shaping needed to get discriminator and modulator into the Due board.
