Subject: [App_rpt-users] Acid install problem
Started the acid install from CD. All went fine up to network config. First mistake, I decided to use static. I am sure I entered everything correctly but no go. Stalls at no Internet connection.
So reinstalled from CD. This time I let it be DHCP. It went on and installed, compiled, set root PW, rebooted.
OK now asks if it can take node info from allstar site. Second mistake... I said yes. Asked for site ID and PW. Entered ID and Password. Keeps asking for password. Doesn't say it is wrong just keeps asking for it. Entered many times. It is correct, confirmed on web page. So stuck at that point.
So rebooted and it asks for login. Logged in OK but the install script did not complete. My node number and what ever else it would ask for past that were never entered.
So short of reinstalling this all over again is there a way to restart the install script? Where is it, what is it called?
