I know of no one having issues running usbradio with current DIAL on the RPI3.
I have a couple nodes running as such.
That said, I would only run one usbradio interface per RPI3, they are simply
not that powerful. I use a supermicro Intel atom server for our main Tampa
site, and it's got 3 repeaters running pciradio and 2 usbradio interfaces on it.
