<p dir="ltr">I started working on a script that downloaded the News line file, then cut it up into 2:45 segments (with mp3split).  Then it checked to see how many segments it had, and built a playlist, with a &quot;You&#39;re listening to News line on W3SBA&quot; file after every third or fourth segment. Then another script to play it with opening/closing announcements.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Got it work, just not as clean as I wanted. Segment breaks in the middle of sentences, that sort of thing.</p>
<p dir="ltr">While working on this, I had News line running on air by connecting to the *NEWSLINE* Echolink conference. After some time I found that nobody was listening to it so I dropped it.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The *ECHOLINK* conference gives it to you in suitable segments. You just have to live with the Echolink audio.</p>
