I expect this has probably come up before (I've heard others discussing it) but

does anyone know anything about nodes appearing and disappearing off the active list?

One day everything's fine and I can connect, etc.; the next I've disappeared off the list
and can't connect to anything; other days I can connect to *some* nodes but not others.

Nothing has changed on my end this entire time, btw.

I've heard discussion referring to problems with "Directory Services" on the backend,

but that's outside my wheelhouse.

Hope somebody has some idea what might be happening. Been going on for a couple of
months or so now. Thanks.
