In my estimation it's best to let the radio do the filtering whenever possible. It's not that app_rpt does anything bad, it does a perfectly find job. I just think the filtering and limiting in the radio will work and sound as intended by the manufacture. Of course there are always exceptions and extenuating circumstances... ymmv.

The exact set-up is determined by the radio and what it wants/needs. What radio are you using and how do you have it connected? What radio adapter are you using?
