I am fairly sure you can run both nodes types on the same server. I had looked at it 5 years ago.

But remember much less now to give you any guidance.

Perhaps talk with those that have built a irlp bridge for the best help.

It would not be an interconnection of systems but using irlp from the same node allstar I think it is necessary to buy the rights of use that my case already paid when I acquired my irlp node
