without getting too complicated...what I did was set up a dummy node and assigned my echolink to that.  Now, if I need to, via a script on a public node, I can connect the dummy to my hub and come in via echo or use it for nets, but, for the most part, it's disconnected and pretty much a dummy load for drive bys.

I saw the instructions on app_rpt site but does any one know more wildcard type rules? Trying to kill off the annoying drive bys. I want to allow -L,-R's and my choice user type connections and block all else. Also does this filter only apply to incoming connections?
