Just a note that as stated on this page -

I had no simpleusb sample file in the asterisk source configs directory in my install of the latest acid release. Only the USBradio sample file was there.

Also no /etc/init.d/usbradio  or /etc/init.d/simpleusb

I do have /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/chan_simpleusb.so

Is this note valid for the current acid install? What is the procedure to switch to simpleusb?

Do I just need to change  rename usbradio.conf, insert and modify simpleusb.conf, and set  rxchannel = SimpleUSB/usb  in rtp.conf  ?
