Doesn't seem to me that it matters. Either way, it's less audio to/from the radio. My
guess would be network, vs. software constantly readjusting the sound card levels
for Echolink audio.

Personally, I've found that the default settings seem to make the Echolink audio at
the same level as the audio from an Allstar node....
