if it's just a hub, rxchannel at the top of the node stanza should be, instead of a usbxxxxx entry, either zap/pseudo or dahdi/pseudo, otherwise it will be looking for a high or low rxpression of the signal, and finding neither, will go into a hang state...if you use the pseudo channel, it won't look for the hardware interface and just push packets rather than try and decode signals.

at least that's how I've set mine up.

What would cause a HUB setup with no USB radio hardware hooked up go into constant timeout and Transmit?  I got the info off of status of allstar node 41269.  It also will not allow connections to happen and i confirmed port forwarding. Ideas?
