This is very true I would be willing to help if I could but I am not familiar with the ham VoIP software I wish I was familiar but they only do raspberry Pi's and I do not run that type of equipment I run regular PC converted into repeaters using all star.. Which allows for simplistic design when it comes to all the other features I need at the repeater site.

Personally I wish that we could all get on the same page with allstar software revisions but understand that others may not feel the same way..

So sorry wish I could help!

You might try the allstarlink version. I did have some videos on it at one point in time but I assume you are on the pi which is something that I do not have.

Marty,

I hope that you understand that we are not trying to rush you off, just because you are running
hamvoip software.

All of the Allstarlink support guys really enjoy helping troubleshoot issues to make the system
better and learning from our experience helping others.

We are always here to help in any way we can.

We just need to clarify when trying to help others troubleshoot, so we know how to help.

With the hamvoip software, most of the folks on here are kind of in the dark as we do not know
the in's and out's of it.

Sorry yes it is hamvoip distro, very sorry to trouble you all! I will take it up with them.

between both distro's are pretty good! I just wish we all can get on the same page because both
together would make a nice distro package!

Both inbound and outbound connections need rpt_extnodes to work.

We don't put a link to the tmp directory for rpt_extnodes in our distro. I
suspect, as Marshal mentioned, you're running the hamvoip distro. You'll
need to contact them if you haven't already for support.
