I followed the procedure stated on Question
4 under the AllStarLink Wiki onto my Raspberry Pi 3B+ with
Debian Stretch. First signs of deviation from the normal
output I saw that, since I had installed the CompassLinux
repository to install ambeserver, as I gave the command to
install the raspberry pi kernel headers, the kernels had the
compass attached to the version numbers of the archives being
installed. I configured the node for dahdi/pseudo use. I ran
the command asterisk -c to see the initial output, output
below.

I removed the CompassLinux repository, did
an update, did another raspberry pi kernel headers install, it
all changed to normal version numbers without the Compass
suffix/prefix attached to it but output is the same.
Do I need to flush everything and start
fresh, or is there a procedure for Raspbian Stretch I need to
follow?
