Thank you very much for trying to help but how to stream isn’t the question. My question is regarding the hardware and specifically the Beagle Board without sound versus the Beagle Board DVI-D with built-in sound. I know how to stream – the company that I work for provides streaming servers to consumers. I’ve just never used the BBB with or without DVI-D. I don’ know which one can be used, I have USB plugin sound cards. Will they work?

This is what you need and it works very well.

Subject: [App_rpt-users] Beagle Board Sound Slightly OT

I’m not sure which group to post this to.

As part of our operations we would like to stream our group of networked repeaters. I have a lot of experience streaming but never with a Beagle Board. Slightly OT, I apologize. But if I load CentOS onto a SSD card can I use like a USB sound card, or am I better off using the BeagleBone DVI-D with Audio? I don’t want to have to run a Windoz box just to stream our repeater.

Thanks!
