Do your search but the folks doing it normally refer to it as DMR (aka).

Someone has created a DMR driver for use in app_rpt using a dstar channel driver.

I think that info will lead you in the right direction.

There has been some info on this list for SIP connections to app_rpt. Do a Google search like so "site:ohnosec.org and inurl:app_rpt-users sip” and see what turns up. Never seen anything on Mototrbo.
