You need to recompile your Zaptel drivers… That's probably what's causing the failure.

It might not be mpg123 that is the problem. Do a "service asterisk stop" and then start asterisk with "asterisk -f”. You’ll see a whole lot of stuff and sorting out what’s wrong takes a trained eye. But you might spot something obvious. Let us know.
