Thanks Loren.  This is interesting, looking over the site I see it's for creating live Linux installs that run from a USB stick, I'm trying to create installation media on a USB stick that will install to an SSD in the PC.  Once the installation is complete, I would no longer need the USB stick.

Thanks for the reply Loren.  The same iso file installs without error when installed on a new VM.  Have you had success with a USB thumb drive install?  Perhaps Acid install from USB is not supported.
