I have a PHP script that I run in a local linux terminal as well as a version on my web site for a few friends to use. http://www.n7fm.com/allstar_node_info.php
Gives an idea. Not a beautiful display but works to keep track of certain nodes without needing to hunt through the master list to check an individual status.
I need to create a better display layout but never seem to find the time. Projects, mine and others never end. Finish one have 2 more waiting.
Don't know if something along this line would work for you or if you were looking for a main CVS file that only has a list with only connected nodes to search rather than all that are online? The script does not display ALL nodes connected. It uses a list (Array) of your selected node numbers. Stripping the status of each node in the array from the master list. It displays the connection status of those particular nodes.
Friends and I have Allstar nodes on our different repeaters as well as some links that we need to keep a check on their status.
I got tired jumping all over the main file to check them. With multiple servers scattered about that became a pain. My son listening to me whine wrote me a script that checks the status of each node I add to an array. Nothing fancy but it lets me check all entered nodes status with a single script to see if and who is connected.

I *think* what he means is something that can show the connection status, like what the bubble diagram shows.
