Yes. It works. I have tested it but I haven't connected audio or COR yet.
I still need to write up the documentation and my experiences.
If you need some help I can answer most of the config questions.

Does anyone have experience using the FT-897D as a remote base tied to an Allstar node? I see there are commands and an interface schematic. I am looking for the hands on Pros and Cons. I have 2 of these rigs thought it would be interesting to put one up as an HF remote.
There would be an issue with RX COR function. I can work that out.
