Ok,

I’ve found the post (copied below) I was looking for but I’m still messing with this and I don’t seem to be making any progress.  I may have something amiss in either sip.conf or extensions.conf?  Is there a good tutorial for asterisk/centos challenged users like myself?

in your Asterisk Dialplan, you need to invoke Rpt like this:

exten => Something,1,rpt,1234|P   (for Phone with function controlled PTT)

-or-

exten => Something,1,rpt,1234|Pv (for Voice-controlled PTT)

(examples given for node number 1234)

Subject: [App_rpt-users] SIP smart phone client

I know I’ve seen this before but I can’t locate it after searching for nearly an hour.  The question; which android sip client is “best” with app_rpt and can anyone advise on the setup required on the allstar server?  Again, I apologize but I can’t seem to locate the original post anywhere.
