_______________________________________________Yes... I thought it was simple at first but quickly relized it was not.
I shut the firewall down.
I 'believe' it to be on vultrs end. I had a issue in the past about them blocking my ports.
They just blanketed all my instances for one that did get out of my control.
And that kept me from getting email notices of things that were going wrong on any/all the instances.
Making cpu usage go up, incrementally over time as things going out were retying constantly backups between the servers and system messages to boot....
It too was a test system. But I have a problem with the fact they shut down the ports on all the instances without a message to me.
And that was from issue on just 1 instance that was a strictly asterisk server.
Well, will put a ticket in after I verify that is indeed the issue.
But I can't get though on any port but 22.
But perhaps I do not fully understand this firewall set-up in debian.
Been using csf normally as of late.
Anyway, thank you for the efforts. Hate to have a botched test like this.
Makes folks less likely to try next time. Thank You !

Mike,
Just wanted to make sure, it wasn’t something simple…Did you check to make sure you have your firewall opened up on port 4569 to accept incoming traffic via UDP? Hope that helps. 73 de K4SQI!

TNX,
I seem to be having issues with the host and port blockage. Again.
At least it looks that way from the surface.
Outbound works fine.
So for all wanting to take part,
Since I don't want it to be a total bomb,
Perhaps connect to 29999 and will try that instance.
Thanks,

Hmmm.....
Had a issue on that system from time to time...
perhaps a reboot will flush it out.

I guess your not showing up in here for some reason

Tried to manually set it using port 4569, but failed to connect, guess I'm doing something wrong.

Wondering if you would mind participating in a load test of the 29993 node
You may look at the allmon stats as we progress @ http://29993.link
that is installed on a vultr 512mb minimal instance.
I will post the cpu/mem/bandwidth stats for all to see, when available.
Along with how many were connected etc.
The goal here is to find the reasonable limits of a vps min install.
Connect up between 9 and 10pm esdst which I believe is 1am utc may 21 tonight (MONDAY )
If we don't swamp it to a crash, perhaps a little round table discussion on VPS deployments.
Thank You !
