I think I know what you're speaking off (forgive me if not),

I was at the website earlier this week and tried to set-up a new server and that interface was not working (using xp machine).

My guess was that, as happens from time to time, google changed the way their interface works and the website needs updated.

I could be wrong. But I would not do anything rash as I don't think it's a problem on your end. There is a way to go to google manually and get your lat/log coordinates from a map.
