sorry for the late answer. I wanted to achieve the same thing and the only way *I* found was to actually change the code. Maybe I missed something, but what I did was to change the code so that nothing but “Connected” and “Disconnected” was announced.

I am trying to turn off the announcements that allstar makes when someone disconnects or connects. I would like to just turn them way down. I have put this code in RPT.conf under the telemetry stanza, but it is not working .Can anyone help please? What am I doing wrong?
