The subject of your query is misleading. Your talking about Link Timeout.

remote_inact_timeout=1800

While I don't remember or know for sure, I believe if you don't have a value stated, it will default to something in the order of 5min (600) and you can look back through the source code if you need to know for sure.
But I think if you put a line like that in your rpt.conf file, it will be just fine.
Just understand the implications for the values you set it to.

[App_rpt-users] Node time out

Ok I know there is a time out timer for the radio attached to the node. I had to adjust that up slightly but that isn’t my problem.
My problem is I like to have the Alaska morning net on my node, but I noticed that after an hour the node is disconnected. I then must reconnect to keep listening. That makes me think there is some sort of node time out somewhere that is shutting off the Alaska node after an hour.
If there is can someone tell me in what conf file it is in so I can adjust it.
