    I own a 2 meter repeater in Jamestown NY, I leave the WAN connected 24-7 some of the repeater users asked me is it possible
to turn off the node reporting node 29347 connected ect. I am using a older ver. Centos 5.10 could yo u please explain how I can do

I was asked by a number of people to turn it back on, and I've done so.
 
 
There's my emails setting it up in 2005 and even Steve referred to it as "your
mailing list".
 
The ASL board has go full idiot.  It's nothing more than non technical people
taking over and they value control more than uptime.  Look at the POS they
appointed to the board as the tech liaison, he secretly was playing both
sides.  Bear in mind this person was responsible for a 50 day outage of his
own servers, but the board considers him a reliable source for technical truth.
