trying to figure out the ratio of item #7 TX buffer length to buflen= in the voter.conf

I get this error

Inbound (Eth Rx) packet out of bounds by: -320

which one is out by -320 the one one in the RTCM A(tx buffer length) or the in the voter.conf file???

voter buflen=300

Item#7 = 900

both on same 100/1000 LAN

If I lower item #7 to 580 the error goes away but 580 is too small is their a ratio between the two??
