I play newsline weekly on our local hub with a script I wrote. It downloads the mpeg file directly from ARN, converts it to wav, and divides it into 2 1/2 minute segments. It then plays the entire broadcast with 15-20 second breaks in between the segments. The segments are overlapped by about 5 seconds for continuity. The script plays pre-warn messages at 5 and 10 minutes before, messages at each break, and an end message. This deals very nicely with ID's and breaks for connections/disconnections of other nodes. Only one segment is in the cue at a time so if necessary stopping the script would stop the playing within 2 1/2 minutes.
