It is in a limited way.
You can drop mail into boxes directly as a phone patch and use hang-up
code when done. Pipe it to some other device/method/asterisk server for
additional use.
As I 'remember' it(?), The problem you have is having access to * and #
while in the radio channel (default).
You can wiggle around the problem with some thought.
It can be used with phones connected to the server.
