I have compiled a test version of Limey Linux version 1.1.5 that
appears
to properly support the new Intel D525MW Atom motherboard.
This is an 'augmented' version of the i686-suported-1.1.5
release, so
it *should* work on all the previously-supported i686
processors, also.
There were some rather major changes (necessary to support SATA
interfaces) in the hard disk driver stuff (even for those MB's
that only
have IDE), so it would be nice if some people could verify that
this still
works on non-D525MW motherboards (at least the ones that work in
the normal release).
I have tested this release on both a D525MW and the D945GCLF
series
motherboards, and it seems to work just fine.
Also, if you have 5 minutes to wait for it to boot (since the
SWINE boot loader does
not support anything faster then USB 1.1 speed, YUCH!), you can
flash
the distro onto a USB pen drive (>= 128 MB), and it will
work. Once the
OS loads, it runs at full speed, just the initial boot load is
PAINFULLY slow.
