I have been assisting Lu in configuring his Allstar nodes and learning more about it in the process. I don't have ready access to a radio that will hit his repeater, so that limits my observations when he's not around to test with me.

I find some of the help text and postings on the Internet unclear, but from what I have been able to determine empirically:

linkunkeyct tells Allstar what courtesy tone to select at the end of any transmission coming over the Net, whether it's from another radio node or a user on the IAXRPT soft client. It doesn't matter whether the node is connected or not, as long as voice packets made it key up for that transmission.

unlinkedct tells Allstar what courtesy tone to select at the end of local repeater receiver transmissions *when the node is still connected to other nodes*.

remotetx tells Allstar what courtesy tone to select at the end of local repeater receiver transmissions when the node is disconnected.
