I suggest the RPi2 because it has 4 USB ports and Wifi is now possible, where it is not on the BBB due to having a single USB port that is occupied by the URI FOB. I use my own build under Arch Linux and latest version of app_rpt. Need to try N4IRS's Debian Jessie soon!
