Unhook the rx from the repeater site and unhook the tx from your house and the. Just connect them together.  You can also disable the rx at the repeater and do a *2 for receive only to the site at your house.

Yes Doug was looking to link via Internet for now till I can find some one that really knows how to tune Duplexers.. lol... yea I have had bad look with 7 different radio communication companies around here getting this done either they lock open the repeater or you cant hear anyone through the recieve side of the system.. So my goal was to setup a node at the house for just RX use only and set up the Transmitter at the repeater site for now.. Internet link them Voice over ip node to node.. I have two URIs and two cables however one cable is a repeater cable suppose i could probably use this on the RX side then use the other one for the transmitter.. Just guessing Special Thanks goes out to Chris Curtis will try this thanks!! :) Any other thoughts or suggestions with this project please let me know..

Do you mean linking via a normal Allstar link? or linking via RF. It is not clear what you are trying to do.

You can link two nodes privately if you know the IP address and port of each node. You just enter the info for the OTHER node in the nodes section of rpt.conf. Assuming you have a good Internet path once this is entered and Asterisk is restarted you should be able to connect. Of course you also need the port forwards in the routers also.

[nodes]
; Note, if you are using automatic update for allstar link nodes,
; no allstar link nodes should be defined here. Only place a definition
; for your local nodes, and private (off of allstar link) nodes here.

1998 = radio@ip.address.for.1999:port/1998,NONE

This show one end. The other end would be just the opposite. Port is only needed if it is other than the default 4569.
