in the node stanza
[1994]
morse=morse1994

in the node stanza
[1996]
morse=morse1996

then have TWO stanzas defining params for each node

[morse1994]
speed=20
frequency=800
amplitude=4096
idfrequency=750
idamplitude=1024

[morse1996]
speed=15
frequency=700
amplitude=2048
idfrequency=800
idamplitude=1024

then you may change the speed, frequency, volume independently per node

you may also just define one morse stanza and have BOTH nodes use the same
[1994]
morse=morse

[1996]
morse=morse

[morse]
speed=20
frequency=800
amplitude=4096
idfrequency=750
idamplitude=1024

I am running 2 nodes    1994 and 1996 on this server with programed as below cw Id is good on mode 1996  not good on 1994 if I change the node number [morse1996] to [morse1994]  the problem reverses to the other node.Does this file need to be duplicated for both nodes?

; Morse code parameters, these are common to all repeaters.

[morse1996]

speed=20
frequency=800
amplitude=4096
idfrequency=750
idamplitude=1024

The difficult we do right away the impossible just takes a little longer and the words it can't be done should never be spoken
