Thanks mike, the only problem with this is I can't hear telemetry so I don't know if I actually connected to a node because the telemetry would be silent correct? Is there any way to have conformation that I connected to a node so I don't have to just "hope" that I connected to the node?
Skyler,
If I understand your problem correctly...
Do the same as the repeater... tx pl to the input of the repeater only on valid input of your node.
Your node might do a final (at rest) id but without pl from valid input to node, it will not be captured by the rf repeater input.

Thanks for any help, I am a newbie at the software and CentOS ACID is the first time I have used command line.
Any suggestions, any previous attempts for a link like that?
Thanks so much, and any help would be greatly appreciated. The RMRL wants to start getting this along so I would really like some help.
