I apologize up front for asking an off topic (app_rpt) question. Has anyone used the URI for station control using programs like ham radio deluxe?
Background:
I have a Windows 7 desktop that I use for SIP (Eyebeam Softphone), Skype, etc. I also have my station radios such as Elecraft, Kenwood TS-520, Motorola Maxtrac, etc. I would like to have an interface, like the DMK URI, to connect to each radio and software like Ham Radio Deluxe to select the radio. I would like to use my USB headset connected to my computer to talk on the radios. Maybe PTT from a soft key on my keyboard?
Maybe someone out there has already done this?
