Ok this will make the decision to buy 2 raspberry pi 3 with 4 sd card easy.
Unless someone tell me that there is a better small computer that could do the job for my 2 nodes using usbradio.

I know of no one having issues running usbradio with current DIAL on the RPI3.
I have a couple nodes running as such.
That said, I would only run one usbradio interface per RPI3, they are simply
not that powerful. I use a supermicro Intel atom server for our main Tampa
site, and it's got 3 repeaters running pciradio and 2 usbradio interfaces on it.
