I'm experimenting with this at the moment. I found that I (appear) to be missing dahdi-dkms. I just want to be able to connect to my hub, and onwards from there to other nodes. If I can get a radio connection working later, I'll do so...

I'm trying to get this to a point where I can run `vagrant up` or `ansible-playbook site.yml` (depending on which makes more sense!)

Even if it was missing something, the deb packages SHOULD install everything that is needed. If it did not, I need to fix it. I can when I get a chance to run a install on vultr.com and see if I missed something.

Well, while not investigating it further at this time,

I was not sure how minimal the minimal Deb9 install that was at A2-hosting, so,

Without the Full Flavor offering....

I did not know what I was missing, that might have been expected in the scripting.

Since I'm not a debian guy, at this point, I'll leave that to others for now.

I may come back to it later. I am fairly certain that the minimal install was missing something needed.

Actually, DAHDI is compiled using the kernel headers. Not actually part of the kernel but a loadable module.

If I'm not mistaken, I thought dahdi had to be compiled into the kernel.

Well,

I did ask for it... LOL

You never learn anything if everything goes well...

Plenty of issues for me but I did retrace the steps to see where it was
going wrong.

Have to hit it some other time as I'm still learning the querky diffs on
debian over centos

so it takes me a bit to break down the scripts. But I think I may start anew
just to see if it wasn't a fluke.

But basically, the dahdi mods didn't install and probably could not be built
from other stuff that did not load.

But I can't see it in error logs. So, I will try fresh, again, fri ?

So after my success loading ASL/stretch iso on vps,

I want to use one other server where I can't load a iso on vps.

But I was looking for the scripts to install onĀ  a existing debian 9
install.

Can anyone point me to the right direction for those ?

Just experimenting...

Thanks,
