With these 3 options set in rpt.conf under your node number, the
announcements are silent. No need for the cos option, but can be
added I guess.
My node is a simplex node:
duplex=0 ; 0 = half duplex (telemetry and courtesy
tones do not transmit)
telemdefault=2 ; local telemetry
nounkeyct=1 ;courtesy tone 0=yes 1=no
