All you need to do is edit: /etc/hosts

Put the name of your server in the local definition....like this:

# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1               YOURSERVERNAME localhost.localdomain localhost
::1             localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6

Then if you ever need to reboot, everything will be A ok...
