There are some interesting things at mini-box.com, and you can get the motherboards by themselves -- but you might be able to find them cheaper.

Look at the Foxconn boxes. they are no mechanical parts (SSD instead of HD). GOt one for our pbx at our synagogue and works great. it's a 4 cpu 1.8 ghz and i think has 4 gb ram and I think they also run on 12volts.

Ward Mundy recommended them too and price was right.

Of course the BBB and pi derivatives are good choices too.

John,
I'm running a quad card on a NeoWare CA22 see:

I changed out the DOM for a 4G. I'm running DIAL on it.
If you can't find one let me know.

I've been playing with the BeagleBoards and PI computers for a while but I think it's time for me to resurrect my original Quad PCI Card system with a smaller and newer computer. Obviously, the PCI card requirement is a must.... as is not breaking the bank, reasonable size footprint, and relatively low power consumption.  Anyone else still running a Quad-Card system? If so, what are some recommended eBay or bargain-basement computers?
