Cannot Connect to Node
I am having issues with a new node I recently set up. I had post a couple of weeks ago about having issues with WebTransceiver connecting to it. At the time it was improperly registering (showing up using the wrong IP address). That problem has been corrected but I still cannot access it using WebTransceiver. Using the AllStar portal, I go to Network-->All Online Nodes and my node number does not appear in the list. When I go to Network-->System-Wide Node List, my node appears and is highlighted green. When I go to Network-->Node Status-->27981 I get a black page with a white rectangular box with: "AllStar Link [surrounding node 27981] status as of 03/27/15 02:31:50 GMT" I checked the iax.conf file and the node number and password are correct. No clue where to check next. Thanks Jamey WR4JW
Did you enable the WebTranceiver on the AllStar portal? If not login to your AllStar account and look around for the option. Turning that on is how AllStar knows to add your node to the list of WebTransceiver accessible nodes. -- Tim :wq

If you're trying the Web TX from the same IP as you node is on you'll most likely have issues. On Thu, Mar 26, 2015 at 10:15 PM, Tim Sawyer <tim.sawyer@mac.com> wrote:

Thanks. Thanks to Dave, AH6OD, he helped me with a few settings and corrected a few things and taught me a few things. He got me setup with iaxRpt and we were able to connect with it. After we finished up I still had an issue connect with WebTransceiver so I started digging deeper. As it turns out, the firewall (Cisco ASA) my server/node is behind was not properly configured. I had UDP/4569 NAT'd properly but other traffic sent to the Allstar servers was seen as coming from a different IP address. Once I correct that, WebTransceiver started working and the Stats page populated with data. Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions.
