That could be, ya poke around with a DMM. Seems like you've got everything set right. Jesse

When COR is set to normal does the SQL pot in "98" show something other than 0?

Thanks, yes the audio is unsquelched from the disc. When COR type is "normal", it is impossible to turn the carrier light off. SQL pot does nothing. Thats why, for the moment, I hooked up COR from radio to get it working. Good point on the de-emph, I missed that. Ross

13 COR type needs to be "normal" otherwise it'll just use the PL input pin for squelch.
Also I believe you won't want nodemph set in voter.conf either since discriminator audio is typically flat (FM), so audio will will need to be deemphasized in software.

Hi, Ive been struggling for weeks trying to use the dsp squelch. The sql and diode calibration routine seems to work like the book says as well as setting all the rx/tx levels. The problem is when I set the squelch pot which seems to do nothing at all. It all works as I believe it should when using ext COR from the radio. Repeat and echolink and offline functions all work. It seems odd(to me) that the sql pot setting always returns zero. Main and status displays are below, followed by voter.conf Any suggestions? Ross

I think the schematic for it is in this PDF http://svn.ohnosec.org/viewvc/projects/allstar/voter/votersystem.pdf?root=sv... I know that's an older rev design, but I suspect it's close. Jesse
