Downloaded ASL.. Went through the first time set up... toggled thru the rest of the set ups, entered items as needed, I can winscp in from another computer, and I believe I have the correct UDP ports open on the modem to operate outside of the box. and I am still struck going now where.. again. Won't do anything.. this shouldn't be this complicated? I have node 47379, on a Pi 2, rim-lite to the rc210. (also have a URIxB available but not connected) I found IRLP to easier to work with than this... need help! before i go nutty! this has been a 3 sunday project.. Step by step instructions suck ! What radios are you using. The settings for COS/COR. Logic high/low PTT logic high/low need set before you can “tune” the audio levels. Which channel driver did you select to use? Thank you Nathan Hardman Nhardman1428@gmail.com

Jim, You need to simplify your setup and get it working first then move on to connecting it to a controller. First, looking at your node number, it is not reporting to the Allstarlink registration server. So that can mean a few things could be wrong. 1) Your port forwarding on your router is not setup correctly. 2) Your network settings on your node are not entered correctly. 3) When setting up your node, you may have not entered your correct node password. Check out those 3 things and let us know if you have any luck. Also let us know what software and hardware are you using for Allstarlink? I think once you figure out your problem, you will be happy with Allstarlink, it really is very powerful. 73 Marshall -----Original Message----- From: App_rpt-users [mailto:app_rpt-users-bounces@lists.allstarlink.org] On Behalf Of Jim Hertel Sent: Sunday, March 24, 2019 1:10 PM To: Users of Asterisk app_rpt Subject: [App_rpt-users] It still doesn't work??? Just a FYI, Port forwarding does not effect registration. Only effects inbound connects if you are registered. Outbound connections will work if registered and there is no port forwarding. But I have always encouraged everyone to make it work with DAHDI first before connecting radios. Verify it all before using USB/radios. Then the search for error is limited. Often new installs having a issue, have more than one issue. ...mike/kb8jnm On 3/26/2019 1:20 AM, Marshall Oldham wrote:
